Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch
April 26, 2018 – Made it All the Way to Loboche. Next to the Khumbu Glacier.
We are in the real world of big mountains now. We arrived at the outpost village of Loboche next to the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier which will lead us to Base Camp.
The weather remains beautiful and both Jack and Scott are strong and healthy.
Hopefully we will get a good rest here at elevation 16,000, so that we can continue on closer to Base Camp tomorrow.

We are looking back on Ama Dablam now

Leaving the village of Pheriche

Jack climbing higher

Scott enjoying one of the last views of Ama Dablam

Yaks carry most of our load from village to village

Jyeta carries a porter load for us as well.

Time to enjoy the scenery

Jack and Scott on the trail

We paused at the memorials for climbers lost of Everest, including Scott Fischer
